PTO Link® HD-Plus System – Safety Plunger Pin (SLIC Pin®) - Optional

$7.99

NOTICE: The new Quarter-Turn Locking Pin is now standard on new purchases of the HD-PLUS Tractor Coupler and also available as a single Locking Pin upgrade for previous HD System users who want to replace the current non-Quarter-Turn Locking Pin to gain the full benefit of having the Locking Pin “lock open” during the uncoupling process.

The PTO Link® HD-PLUS System is our most versatile model.  It’s designed for heavy duty applications with compact or utility tractors rated from 35 HP up to 165 HP (engine gross), and with most 3-point hitch or pull behind (drawbar) implements.   PTO Link® is the original, universal PTO quick-connect system consisting of two interconnecting steel couplers. Its patented Open-Plate system replaces the traditional spline-to-driveline connection with a visible interface design that’s both easy to see and reach. Now you can quickly and safely connect / disconnect implements at the tractor’s PTO in just seconds! A complete PTO Link® System requires both a Tractor (Female) Coupler and an Implement (Male) Coupler. For best results, every tractor should be equipped with a Tractor Coupler, and every power-driven implement should be equipped with an Implement Coupler.  The PTO Link® System adds 5 inches to the implement’s driveline.

INSTALL: After the two couplers of the PTO Link® System are connected and fully locked, locate the aligned 1⁄2ʺ opening

through both couplers positioned across from the spring-loaded locking pin. Insert the Safety Plunger Pin through

the 1⁄2ʺ opening of both couplers, starting from the tractor side towards the implement side until it emerges through

the couplers. The spring-loaded wedge plunger will release its internal spring and secure the couplers together.

UNINSTALL: Depress the spring-loaded wedge plunger and push the end of the Safety Plunger Pin toward the tractor.

Then, pull the head of the pin from the tractor side until it is entirely removed from the couplers. When the PTO Link®

System is not in use, affix the Safety Plunger Pin through the 1⁄2ʺ opening on the Tractor Coupler or Implement Coupler

for convenient storage.

PRO TIP: If at any time the Plunger Pin doesn’t slide easily go through both couplers, during installing or uninstalling it, a

slight lift of the implement side coupler will help to align the Plunger Pin holes and therefore removing any potential

“side pressure” on the pin and will also allow easier rotation and positioning of the wedged tip for removal.
